Incorrect. From what I know, JD will be paid within in 30 days from purchase order.

I think that is incorrect. I believe Home Depot has their plants on consignment - Lowes does not. That is why you get .50 plants etc when they are dying and at HD you don't.

May not be relevant in this case - maybe they don't do any other consignment other than nursery stuff.

I have both heard this from HD employee and have a link with other examples.
