Bera

Cisco is a valued and trusted friend of mine. I fully agree with the post that you linked. As I see it, just as AOL competes with other ISPs for our eye balls, IE viewer ship, they are all trying to be crowd pleasers which is impossible.

Matt (this sites owner) has told me that he has the idea that within reason, the threads on this site should allow themselves to be governed by each thread creator’s set of rules. Thus I have the tools now to delete a post from this thread, block posters ect. I spelled out my rules in the header.

That same authority would be afforded the thread creator of a bandwagon load of loons that started a thread here to discuss hate politics or other touchy subjects, it would be up to the thread creator (within reason) to use said authority.

Matt has further told me that I and other thread creators here also could terminate in sorts, a poster who is obviously a troublemaker on said thread in the near future.

If I have over stated my understanding of the rules here I’m sure Matt will correct me or add to my post.

I see the above set of rules much like this country in it's beginning. States split off and fought the central governing body to govern themselves while allowing an ULTIMATE authority to have final say so in the event that a state gets too far off course (topic).

I like it here!
