I agree the breadth was poor on the COMP, but we closed in the low range of the closes the past week. The SOX looks like it needs more up, and the topping patterns on the SPX, NDX, and COMP all look like bull flags rather than distribution. Volume is really only poor and negative on the Dow.
The drop in new highs today was substantial, and the TRINQ was borderline distributive. Things are dicey, but I'd sure like to see one more thrust up prior to a pullback. I don't always get what I want, however <G>
