I know I do it from Yahoo, one at a time from Hist Quotes and it takes a while.

I checked the format of the URL they use, and it is no problem to generate it by SW. Then just supply the program a lot of stock symbols (from file?) and leave the computer on for a few hours. That should do the trick :-)
