This one probably was $4800 a year also twenty years ago. My daughter graduated in 2005. Inflation rears its ugly head.

My point was that operating a high school is expensive so we will have to wait and see what kind of profits are possible for HRCT in the future.

I've sent my daughter to private schools since preschool ..Cost this year about $13,000 with everything..Obama's school here in Hawaii (Punahou school about $15,000) gets a lot of attention..Michelle Wei also went there..They are a money making machine..and with the high cost of everything here in Hawaii, they do stand out with their facilities and teachers..So there are schools that make a heck of a lot of dough while putting out an excellent product..If they can do it with the high costs here in Hawaii, I can just imagine what is possible in China..Very interesting possibilities..jmo

Oh by the way, even on a small island like Oahu, there are about a dozen to 15 or so private schools that are doing big business....I can see Maple China Ed developing into something really in a class by itself..There is a market for these kinds of schools where the public Ed is not enough..Jmho
