I agree that teams like the Yankees and and Mets that make the playoffs in a large market have it easier because they can spend more. However. The Steelers have won the Super Bowl 2 times in the last 4 years and the Pens have won the Stanley Cup this past year. They are both small market teams. So I don't buy the excuse that the Pirates use. Put a winner on the field and the fans will come.
