You may think you understand economics but we know you don't understand what happened these last 8 years. While the R's had the White House and Congress the incompetent one did not veto 1 spending bill, started two wars, and gave two tremendously stupid tax cuts. He also passed Medicare part B which in case your little mind does not know is more expensive the worst of the current health care proposals.
Shrub didn't need the support of the D's to start a war nor did he need the support of the d's to wipe out any surpluses.
Oh and while your at it please explain why the R's are so good as holding the deficits down? Raygun, Bush, and the incompetent one are the biggest deficit creators in the last 40 years. I don't see a D beside their names.
It's the rabidly and galacticly ignorant R's who never want to pay for their crap that has caused these deficits. All the while screaming let's give the rich another round of trickle down tax cuts.
