Well Sox, I have always been critical of Bush for allowing the spending to run rampant while trying to protect his suport to finish the way, so what is your point there?
In adidition, I was equally critical of the Reps that started spending like liberals and still believe they desereved to get voted out for doing so. In many cases, more conservative thinking Blue Dogs have replaced them.
If spending would have been held in check like it should have been, the debt burden of the wars would be far less. Of course, the housing bubble that is largely responsible for our current situation has both sides to blame and yes, even our current President had a big part to play!
