Actually patriot, due to the wars and Bush's attempts to make sure he kept enough supprt in congress to finish the job, he let outrageuos spending bills from both sides of the aisle to pass by his desk without a veto. That was his biggest mistake! We were waging wars and at the same time allowing discretionary spending to rise at unprecedented levels. New spending had to be frozen to prevent from going into such deep debt during the wars and it was not. For this, I blame Bush!
That does not change the fact that so few on the far left lack the basic understanding of economics and especially what it takes to start and successfully run a business.
