I give them credit for good predictions this year. But I have to tell you the local weather man around here are only 50% correct most of the time. I can't count how many times I said "This was not suppose to happen" (good or bad weather).

Note the hook around the west side of the high pressure area. For every mile the high moves east, the path will move east the same amount.

Note also that the eye is predicted to stay within 100 miles or 5 hours movement from the entire west coast of Florida until landfall. That falls within the release periods for the track maps.
