This company once pr'd that 'insiders'(referring I assume to the market maker) as having issued shares to themselves above the available trading float.
They said that before they advanced their plans down the road that they'd see it these shares would be sold back to them and suggested they may or may not be offered for resale at a higher price...based on whatever they do that sees the price go up. They said they'd do this to protect existing shareholders from the effects of any high volume selloff later on...and help to insulate shareholder value from price fluctuations.
Any chance these shares listed under the ( ? ) column represent these shares? An act of returning that part of the naked short that wasn't issued into the marketplace itself...which would have been used to stall a run or run the price back down...assuming the naked short position of theirs ran away from them... once the company introduced their plans?
The stock involved is one of those that is endlessly bashed here and elsewhere by the same identities over the past three years.
