There's always someone lower down the ladder whose going to rat on the elites and the bosses higher up. No, they can destroy evidence as much as they like but the prisons are full of people who thought they were smarter.
If this goes on much further and discovery is made, I predict all hell will break loose and then we're really in for a fun ride.
If JPM is to be protected then settlement is the only thing that makes sense because otherwise a can of GIANT worms is going to open and then who knows where that will lead.
