JohnSamuel, Usually when IDCC licenses a company it's for their existing patent portfolio. I'm sure if they license Nokia it will be for all IDCC's patents to date.
If you look back in time QCOM has licensed patents from IDCC but that license only covers patents owned by IDCC to around 1995 0r 1996.
I don't know if QCOM has to license anything from IDCC because both have essential patents and both may accomplish the same thing using different paths.
I think if we license Nokia many new licensees should happen??
