During the Sox game yesterday they interviewd a couple from Phila. who are avid Red Sox fans, especially the wife. She drained her swimming pool, painted a large Red Sox logo on the bottom, refilled it. Her dream: to someday sell the house, in the winter, with the cover over the pool...to a NY Yankee fan. Beautyfulll!!!
Plugg: I should think that the plight of the Yankees would provide you with a plethora, if not more, of ideas for your Sunday talk with your parishoners. Knowing what a fine fellow you are, I'm sure you often use the Red Sox for parables and other good stories for your flock.
