Suzy saw a great movie yesterday, "Trouble With the Curve," with Clint Eastwood.
She said she's see it again if I wanted to get out.
A great baseball fan she turned me onto "Bull Durham."
You don't have to like the manager if you're a ballplayer but it sure helps if you respect his baseball strategy. We both dislike the way Bobby Valentine too often manages the Red Sox. I suspect he'll be gone shortly.
"Reflexes like a cat," so true. Oh how you ducked when that 2-wood slipped out of my hands.
Reflexes like a cat, nimble too. LOL
Hi Jorge. Haven't heard from you in a while. I hope you and your family are well. Plugger and I have been at "Zeev's Turnip Patch-No Politics" on Investorshub.com
wow congrats Plugger, nice picks eh.
didnt know you are good at golf too, lol
Hi stranger,
I just got back from Dallas and can you believe that even Dallas was cooler than here, lol
How have you been? Still fighting with Lee all the time? and you called that bonding I remember, LOL
dada
Happy 103 degrees! Way too hot for me.
I just ran the numbers and... if people post at the rate of .8 per second my WAG has a shot for the 15MM post. LOL
I only trade the majors. Euro, Pound, Swiss Franc, and Yen. They keep me busy. Maybe next year or so, I will add some others.
Looks ok to me, just watch the fast market reactions that's where the pain can live. LOL
Did some looking at the second site I mentioned to you earlier when I saw this offer. Looks pretty good.
http://www.millennium-traders.com/services/free_forex_offer.aspx
Inquiring minds want to know. LOL While I am picking your brain I may as well ask what currencies you find to be more profitable to trade? TIA
P.S. Any opinion on this site: http://forex.com/ for trading currencies. I think you can get started rather easily and with as little as $250.
Edit: This site has an interesting track record too. http://www.millennium-traders.com/ Opinion?
For me the place to be is currencies and I have been focused there for two years now, I am not sure why Lee gave them up but I think the YM volatility is more suited to his paper cut style of trading.
Just curious, why your reluctance for you and I suspect Lee from trading the NQs? Just habit? Looks to me that the NQs have bigger moves and more profitable. Of course, the other side of coin is, if not careful, possible can lose more too. TIA
YMs are 5 point, I haven't traded NQs for awhile but I seem to remember 12. As for brokers, I still use Interactive Brokers, check around some offer more bells and whistles.
A newbie futures question. The YMs and NQs are worth how much per point? What broker do you suggest? TIA
Shoot, it started at 1.8634. Removed order.
I have a buy order waiting at GBP 1.8624
North Korea news out, I am flat. I hate it when this stuff happens! Junior with nukes nice!
Ooops, not out. Holding long, with a 15 tick stop. Sometimes my mouse is too sensitive. 1.2694 entry.
Edit and my typing could use a tuneup entry is 1.2594
OK for all of you who do not regularly back up your data.....Back up your data!!! I have spent two trading days getting things back to normal, and it could have been worse. I at least had my passwords and accounts where I could reach them.
Ah, ok, I feel better now. Yankees win big, but for me the highlight was Robinson Cano bunting to move runners over, led to the first bat around. Yeah, baby!
And now Coco Crisp looks like he is an upgrade from Damon. Woe is me!
I don't like the looks of the revamped Red Sox. Entirely too comfortable and proficient! Loretta looks really good. Boo!!

Hi renshen: Re OIH, it really depends on your trading style. We got a nice decline and the put options did well. Looking at the daily chart, volume was rather massive six days ago after the decline and OIH bounced from 132 to 142. OIH doesn't look as if it has bottomed...but I cannot really tell. My suggestion; do as you've been doing...keep taking some profits, keep holding some put options. When/if you see another sharp decline accompanied by massive volume it might bw wise to take a bunch of profits and...watch.

Off to get my golf clubs re-gripped. Going for oversized and see if my arthritis eases up. Already cut out coffee, that helped a lot! Only took two months to stop having caffeine headaches. LOL

I love the volatility but I must say that BB (Bernanke not King) needs to work on his cliches. They are his friends.I.e. "It is the responsibility of Congress to legislate social issues Congressman, I would be out of line were I to suggest legislation to this august body."
Covered .61, will hit it again on a bounce
Empire State # reaction weakens $. Pound overbought I am watching and waiting. 9:15 numbers may provide the catalyst.
Today we have this and also Ben Bernanke's first testimony on the Hill. I will be expecting volatility for both. Pound up on lower jobless in the UK, unexpected.
