I think most people, well, at least many, want to learn more about how all this works. Some, as you say, just want to go along with the crowd. We all make mistakes in the market, but with luck we learn from them, and at least make new mistakes the next time round.

But some just don't ever get it. I've seen people move from scam to scam to scam--and we're talking about the same KIND of scam--all the while blaming their bad luck on the Nasty Bashers or the Evil Shortsellers. These people tend to identify strongly with company management, and bristle at any suggestion that they may not be the best men for the job.

skunks....imo people who "invest" in these stocks should do so only with money that they will never need. People can make big money trading these stocks and once in a blue moon one makes it but treating these companies as investments is sorta moving people into the wrong line of thinking. "Invest" bucks you don't need and play the momo as best you can or forget about anything on the OTCBB or pinkies...jmo and of course there will always be folks who gamble with rent money which is sad but Vegas thrives on it.
