Business as Usual at AT&T Mobility
s6,
<< Doesn't make a lot of sense to be introducing a new product thru ATT if it could be banned in a few weeks...... >>
And just think, there are 3 more Nokia 3G feature phones scheduled to come on stream in the next few months to add to the 3 smartphones AT&T Mobility has now launched this year. This in addition to Nokia's planned launch of its US OviStore with its AT&T integration later this calendar year.
... and while a ban could be instituted by the ITC, it won't be instituted in the next 2 weeks.
<< They know something... >>
It's simply business as usual as the expanding AT&T/Nokia relationship continues to progress, and the same with the Nokia/Verizon relationship which while expanding slower is progressing. Mobile wireless business and relationship development doesn't grind to a halt because of what's happening on the IPR battlefields, and network operators aren't about to give aid and comfort to the InterDigitals of this world by suspending partnership development despite what InterDigital's CEO recently attempted to imply in that regard.
Cheers,
