We will never have a functioning democracy in this country unless the Democrats are restructured into a REAL opposition party instead of the big-money, pro-Likudnik, Bush light entity it is today.
BTW, Nader is serious about going after disaffected Republicans as well as Democrats.
I subscribe to a paleoconservative anti-war publication and just received a solicitation for funds from the Nader organization based the idea that George Bush has betrayed many bedrock conservative tenets in his rush towards empire and never-ending war.
It is a self fulfilling prophecy. If every one believes a third party cant win it wont.
I think voting for either Kerry or Bush is immoral. You are voting to kill people. Talk all you want about practicality of "winning" some how I cant bring myself to buy the idea that voting to kill people is "winning". Not to mention that most likely we are encouraging more terrorist activity here at home by voting for more war.
