choad, I like shorting TYH if I think the market is going down. Just get your borrow early in the day or you won't be able to get any.

For a long term short, something like a BGU or TNA short might do a bit better, because $NDX successfully tested its November lows in March while I think the rest of the market needs to test its March lows eventually.
