You think that ERHE will be privy to information on drilling results or will they only know what the Chinamen want them to know ? Also Sinopec has an out if they do not like the drilling results BUT does Addax also have an out if the results are stellar ?

On the up side and i am having finding much in this Addax buyout deal there is the statement that is made on drill results if Sinopec consumates the deal !!!!!

CVX has nothing against us, either does APC. Lets get real, sure they didn't want ERHC in their blocks when ERHC had to pony up their share of the costs, but now that ERHC has full carries not paid by them, they don't care one way or the other whether ERHC is in the block. They just didn't want to end up having pay for all of ERHC's exploration and production costs themselves. JMHO

Tryoty,
I couldn't agree more with your comment. The Chinese are very low key busness people. They are not chatty with the successes of their enterprises. The Chinese play their cards close to their chest. Addax, on the other hand, was promoting their potential successes to lure a buyer.

Block 1 results were kept under wraps to our dismay for many fortnights. Would it be in the best interest of Sinopec to release highly successful results right away if they want to buy deeper into the JDZ? Seems like it would only inflate the value of other JDZ properties and cost Sinopec a premium to acquire more properties. Can ERHE post results of drilling if they are NOT the operator? Can we be burried in mystery from Sinopec? I sure hope all goes well...we have waited many years and Sinopec taking over as our operator scares me a bit. Maybe I am missing something.
