Coherent has since sold this operation to an Israeli company called Lumenis, but Candela is still at it, developing ever newer applications for its lasers. FWIW, I’m not convinced that these heat-based collagen-building treatments actually build collagen, but Thermage claims to selling its systems like hotcakes.]
