exactly. also, from what i've experienced, notice via publication in a newspaper is done usually as a last resort, when all other options to provide notice has been exhausted and proved fruitless.
Didn't say that was what was going on, just looking for some rational explanation for why a trustee would with hold material information from the beneficiary.
That's the only thing that makes any sense to why there would be a such an obvious breach of obligation and duty.
Otherwise, we are left with the other best explanation... Namely, they are not fulfilling their obligation to the trust and should be roasted over an open fire in a very deep legal pit.
