I don't have the daily stats in front of me, but a large portion of trades have been going through at 100/300 billion. There's no explanation for that. If you have 120K to put on a penny stock, you'd be watching closely and bought at .0001, thus buying a billion shares instead of a mere 300 mil. The volume is the mystery to solve at the moment. Figure that out and it should answer many other questions that have been asked.
