By going to Canada though he is personally officiating and negotiating (IF that's what's going on), NOT having his personal assistant or a junior partner do the leg work with him signing off on things, such as is common with a large law practice from what I've seen.
When I say personal time, I don't mean unpaid time, I'm sure he's being paid very nicely for every minute! However, he seems to be personally involved with intimate aspects of the business now. Ups the curiosity level to me is all.
