In the case of OCCF, it was to hide distribution of shares being unloaded into the open market.

So they generate volume of 500,000 shares each day, selling maybe 10,000. The stock would bop around, but every 2 - 3 days it would be lower.

They were trying to unload about 20 million shares.

It took them about 3 months to do it.

That sounds like a form of manipulation to me particularly when they are the only ones who can bid and ask at the fifth digit but......OK.
I'm looking forward to more detail about this but for now it's my gamble play and it's actually become a bit boring - except for the patrons of this cyber barroom who are fascinating :)

I'm gald the volume is finally being discussed in length a bit more here. This is the issue that has me truly perplexed. Not the O/S, divys, mergers, etc...They call all the debated endlessly.. CMKX is at 0.0004 trading billions EVERY day???

Who's selling?.... Not many here.
Who buying? Small accumulation only, I'm sure.

In no way are these blocks trading retail, so why are they tranferring them back and forth? They only logical reason I can think of is to keep the pps afloat at .0004, so they can pull $$ from the retail market..They let the volume drop, odds are the pps will too.

Any other rational explanations are more than welcome.
