re: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Message In Reply To: ... looking for this company, or these words on this url!!! Goggle says they are there. I found them on the first hit at the SEC.
First hit SB-2 COMMERCE DEVELOPMENT CORP LTD, 6,281,294 ($9,421,941.00)
http://www.sec.gov/news/digest/dig060204.txt - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ok, But before I do anything else... The method to scan the doc using one or more eyeballs, looking for BOLD text, is not as quick & easy as the FIND method mentioned using the Edit dropdown option, or as thecow shortcut to press the Ctrl key and hold down, then press the F key, where both produces that popup menu box to type in search word(s) that for my Opera browser is not case sensitive.
(as both get same results) COMMERCE DEVELOPMENT CORP Commerce Development Corp
ok, Now I'll click on the: - Cached - Similar pages
and, It does highlight for me with the text in color yellow, once at the very top, and then scroll'n down the doc I get a second hit.
also, If I position my screen at the top of the page and do that FIND in the Edit dropdown menu, or the Ctrl+F, and type in the words, I get both hits, and for my Opera they are colored blue, but if I then click my mouse, the color goes to that yellow.
bottom line(s), The FIND approach works, and works better than eyeballs when the doc is long and you expect very few hits, but if you expect lots of hits, the Google/Cached with the color yellow is best to page or scroll down the doc from top to bottom.
The Google/Cached needs a little note here: --- This is G o o g l e's cache of... as retrieved on Aug 5, 2004 G o o g l e's cache is the snapshot that we took of the page as we crawled the web. The page may have changed since that time. Click here for the current page without highlighting. ---
I'll not use my program since this example is too easy, and no need to muddy the water :o)
