I seriously think that Alexa does not count unique visitors. My website counter claims to show a number of unique visitors, but every if you visit it 4 times in one day, it will still count you as 4 different visitors. It restarts every 30 minutes, so if you visit it twice in a 5 minute period, it will count you as one visitor, but if you come back 35 mintues later, it will count you as a new visitor. I think Alexa does the same.
New Alexa ranking: 19,292. Much smaller move up than the last one, but very little time has elapsed, too. This move up is small enough to be practically nonexistent, so maybe BoP is right about the pullback coming.
