I seriously think that Alexa does not count unique visitors. My website counter claims to show a number of unique visitors, but every if you visit it 4 times in one day, it will still count you as 4 different visitors. It restarts every 30 minutes, so if you visit it twice in a 5 minute period, it will count you as one visitor, but if you come back 35 mintues later, it will count you as a new visitor. I think Alexa does the same.
