i am more interested in finding out why the plaintiffs agreed to this settlement. Kim couldn't accept the settlement without the approval of the plaintiffs. i wonder what's going on and why they accepted so little. i have 2 thoughts on why:

1. they want to buy the property for themselves. this could be bad for them as this would undoubtedly start a class action suit against them which would hold up any sale and development of such properties for a while

2. the plaintiffs know the sale of the properties will yield a big payoff. perhaps they have a buyer who will put in a minimum bid.
