Doesn't sound like a "conspiracy" theory to me at all. The thing that attracted me to these boards... and so far I have only played on RB and Investorshub (really do not spend all my off hours on the net... reading a tv screen is bothersome after a while plus which I'm glued to one 40+ hours a week)... was the political boards... finally found a group that shared my views... rb went out the window first when the whackos like Jacknorth started spamming it with his ridiculous rants.
UofM was a hotbed of liberal radicalism when I was there... I was apolitical at best at the time and none of my friends ever really voiced opinions about what was going on... we all kind of assumed that we were on the load mouths side but were too polite to talk about it... At a 20 year reunion, we were having little one on one conversations quietly confessing that we "hated" Clinton... we were all floored and amazed... there are a lot more of "us" out there than them... cannot believe we have caved in to the minority through our silence.
My long-winded way of concurring... the internet MUST remain free...
I do fear for the future... though I know there are highly intelligent, well-educated kids out there... believe they will rise above the crap that's being spoonfed them and lead... I pray that this is the case... wonder if it is the highly intelligent that are the exception... if they were the rule... we probably wouldn't have this mess... unfortunately most people are complacent sheep.
