Hey Revlis....I have no idea what will be in the NOK/IDCC deal. If IFX is a factor, they would possibly stipulate the IFX parameters in an addendum to the actual agreement, which would tell you rate discounts based on the fact that NOK is using/buying IFX chips.
Creativity is left up to the leaders of each company/organization and the attorneys. Whatever it is and where-ever it appears in the agreement, it is agreed to with a signature.
revlis, remember WM's 4/30 unsolicited comment about nokia's entry into the data centric market and nokia's tech solutions not being targeted today for that market, and maybe there is an opportunity there for IDCC selling (or bartering) it's modem IP? Guess who's chip is loaded full of that modem IP?
