And it is awfully hard to sell something when the market is not there.

Look at Seagate= 2 1/2 years late for the FDEs and now you have just about all the drive manufactures coming on board NOW.

The market is just now emerging. Now is the time for Wave to make it's mark. Now, not 2-3 years ago when there was not a market to sell into.

You have to give Wave a lot of credit for being able to stay alive until this point in time. Our time to shine is just about upon us NOW.

Zen, they didn't seem to have a problem selling a pizza chain. When they had success with that, they should have hit the street with some closers and went after other small/medium sized companies.

I agree that they don't have a high enough client profile yet to point to. It was Waves job to get a high client profile. Whatever strategy they had, simply did not work with regard to closing enteprise deals for TPMs.

I'm sure you recall that SKS on a CC (2 years ago now)said that they had 1M dollar plus TPM upgrade orders that would close in the following qtr.

SKS again stated on the last call how easy he and Wave think it is to turn on. So if it's so easy, than they are not get that message effectively communicated.

Zen, I agree this is not a normal sell (but selling is selling) and it's a sin for Wave not to have a major client to point to by now.

I have made my feelings clear...leadership must be sold first. Worker-bees usually do not make the decision to drastically change anything...they are afraid to lose job if anything goes wrong. Leaders are supposed to look for change to benefit the comapny/govt or they lose their job.

I have been involved in two paradigm shifts involving communication technology the past 20-yrs and was very successful launching both (one was for the govt sector too). We ALWAYS started with the ceo, president, superintendent, city/county mgr and even governors. Sometimes we even worked through BOD. AFTER they bought into the need and benefit, we sold through the chain of command.

Wave hopefully will make it there, but the SP reflects lots of doubt and IMO that was caused by a faulty launch strategy and over optimistic statements (for years) by sks.

I bet on the tech and am disappointed in the launch timeframe and leadership of Wave to produce after so many years, but will wait it out like the rest.
