There are some who like to speak for Nokia. I have to admit that I do not know what Nokia needs or do not need but it is easy to project the likely progression to a 3G design win for Infineon. especially the purchase of this chip.
Infineon set to sample low-cost 2G/3G/HSDPA platform in June
If IFX does get a 3G design win from Nokia, then Infineon will be selling 3g chips to the top 3 handsets manufacturers and Apple which will be quite an achievement for Infineon in a relative short period of time since IDCC supplied its HSDPA technology inside Infineon chip.
