churak.....Nowhere have I ever found a rule in print even referring to naked shorting. Therefore, I can't state conclusively one way or another. It's like asking me if illegal time travel should be banned.
Oaky chu, for the millionth time, market makers making bona fide markets can legally go naked short......on most stocks, but not all I guess if what howdy posted is fact.
