Both of your posts (Tiger and Bodi) were very good... I think that Tiger was trying to say that Rodman is not Goldman in the sense that they don't have the same name recognition and I'm sure that they have brokered some "iffy" deals. The reality is that when you're working in this space, more often than not, the deals are "iffy." Bodi's rebuttal that Goldman's name has been tarnished is a valid point (and a tremendous opportunity for Rodman), but for now, Rodman is still a hop, skip and jump below Goldman (as far as investment banking goes and deal brokering).
Re: Vision Capital... unless this website, www.visicap.com , is not the Vision Capital that is working with CYRX, the names that will be controlling/investing in the future of our company consist of Benowitz, Cohen, Lutz, Kleidman, KAMINSKY, Shane, Snow and Potvin... the senior personnel. Like Tiger pointed out, the thing that sets these guys apart is their investment philosophy/dispipline; aiming to be the Berkshire Hathaway of the small/micro cap space. They invest in companies that they feel have good upside (not concerned with making money by shorting companies).
These guys carry a very good reputation... I feel very good about where we're going.
Good luck to all!
