For what its worth every bank does iffy deals at some point. Rodman and Renshaw are the leading healthcare banking firm that are left. Do they do Billion dollar offerings, no. They don't want to do those because they don't have the bandwith to handle a deal like that. They've been around a long time and have grown into a group that is well respected for their healthcare deals. The other sectors they are starting to grow, but again, its not Goldman. I've seen plenty of the bulge bracket firms deals go belly up or sideways. As long at the company gets the funding it needs and secures a customer all this conjecture will be moot. The big question will be can we break that .60 barrier that has plagued us for so long. Getting closer.
