Every state is hurting. That's not Obama's fault.

In AZ, the new repub governor cut 1 billion dollars from education. I guess she figured that since we're ranked last in education...what the hell did it matter anyway?

And naturally, the next thing on the chopping block was healthcare for children. Better for the kids to stay sick....that way they won't be clogging up the damn schools.

Sometimes it seems our nation is being dismantled and sold off to the highest bidder, just like an old battleship... I was listening to a guy named Gerald Celenti.. last year he predicted there would be a large taxpayer revolt across the nation as well as massive closures of big name stores and civil unrest... in our state, budgets are being cut by as much as 30%... from what Ive heard, the city isnt going to prosecute crimes like burglaries, shoplifting, thefts.. only things like murder, rape and crimes commissioned with a weapon will be investigated... sounds like an open invitation to the criminal element and those just trying to get by to take a chance... where are we heading?

That changed dramatically during the Bush years !! In order to fund tax cuts for our wealthiest and fund the cost of his expanded gov, aid at the state and local levels was cut.
