Re: Whole new algorithm

Hi Ryan.

in 2005 I created a whole new algorithm which works identical to AIM but increases profit 166 percent and maintains the same level of safety.

What a tease! <smile> And...

I then wrote software for it. And that is what I used until it took me completely out of the market in October of 2007.

I won't be the first to ask so you might as well share now. Any approach that puts you all in cash at the market peak (October 07) is going to get some attention. We're all looking for the 'Holy Grail'.

Have you considered going commercial with the program? You may not be aware, but both Doug and Bill of Investing Systems' PCA and Mark from Automatic Investor all started their enterprises having been part of this group. In both cases their AIM software was their first offering.

So cough it up buddy! <grin>

Hi, MP.

As one of the Mac-AIM Users to Whom Grabber refers, I second His request to 'cough it up'. Not the software per se (tho I might find it helpful), but the algorithm, especially. I am working on a statistical analysis study using monte carlo simulation to determine what 'aim tweaks' help in what circumstances and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to add Yours to the mix. Perhaps, working together, We may develop an even better technique. So, please, "cough it up".

Welcome to the boards,

Any attempt I have seen to improve the Lichello algorithm involved curve fitting to some extent in other words, the new version worked better in some circumstances but not as well in others.

If your version works better in all markets it would be a real breakthrough. Frankly it is surprising that his formula is so hard to improve on given the primitive tools he had to work with and the fact that it was done 40 years ago.
