Besides offering TDM-bundled SED, the new Vostro models offer a Wave-bundled TPM option vs. the previous Infineon-bundled TPM. Not surprising given that the Vostro SED is Wave-bundled. Imo the next move is to make Wave-bundled TPM standard on Vostros but I want to guess will require more TPM traction among Latitude/Precision customers, which I believe is coming.
As I posted earlier the new Dell ControlPoint is far more TPM-oriented and friendly than with the D-Family, so expect more TPM activations going forward. ERAS-managed SED will also spawn more TPM activations, as I have been saying for several months now.
