Short Sellers Want Naked Shorts Legalized

I will say it a different way.

They say they will be doing us a favor if all borrowing requirements are removed.

They want to be able to sell millions and millions of shares without borrowing of any kind and want no uptick rule. In effect, because a shorter decides a short of a company is in his best interests, he should be allowed to issue millions and millions of shares of that company into the market and keep the proceeds when he overwhelms demand with his endless supply.
