For example, if driver typically experiences multiple microsleep within a given time frame, say 5 minutes (for the sake of the argument lets say typical is 5 microsleep episodes) then 70% detection rate with one of the algorithm means there is 0.3 to the 5th power = 0.002. Another words, this algorithm would have about 0.2 percent change of missing all the microsleep episodes in a 5 minute time frame. For the sake of this definition that is greater than 99.8 percent accuracy if we define CRAM's accuracy this way. Obviously as we get closer and closer to the full sleep the frequency of microsleep will get much higher, hence the different stages the CRAM detects.
