I have enough troubles in this State--Maryland--an amnesty State thanks to our piece of dirt Governor.
Our General Assembly is in session. First, let me say that Casa de Maryland is supposed to get $1M from Hugo Chavez. Does that tell you something?
My spy in the General Assembly, Delegate Patrick McDonough, reported on his weekly radio show the following:
-that a bill was written that would create a 2-tier driver's licensing system. Illegals can get licenses here now, and they are asked whether they would like to register to vote at the DMV. I am NOT making this up. The new bill would create a separate class of driver licenses for illegals ON A PROSPECTIVE BASIS. Illegals who got licenses before enactment of the special-license legislation can keep their current licenses. THE BILL WOULD GRANT DE FACTO AMNESTY TO ABOUT 150K illegals.
Well guess what? History was made in the Assembly. Maybe 50 or 60 policians, upon realizing that the bill meant amnesty, actually jumped up and ran up and changed their vote to "no"!
THAT IS RARE IN ANY ASSEMBLY.
Second, a bill was posposed that would allow illegals to get liquor licenses. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP EITHER. This time the opposite occurred. About 20 legislators who were voting against the bill, upon realizing that their "no" vote would keep illegals from getting liquor licenses, ran up and changed their vote to "yes".
The organizations that support illegals obviously have bought and paid for more than a few members of the Maryland General Assembly, or as we call it, the General Asylum.
