In Canada... a cash account is a cash account... you get what you pay for... end of story...

However... I have no idea what margin accounts do.. we are controled by the national banks... some degree of protection I guess... cant have a major bank involved in a scandal... (ya right)

So if I have an E*trade "cash" account, I do not have to request the certs and get them in my name?
