Al... if you have a cash account.. you should get certs automatically... maybe up in Canada thing are done differently thru the big national banks... I called them on it and they said I cash accounts get certs automatically... now I no nothing about margin accounts...

Urbie shouldn't be giving that kind of advice. He's a CEO, not a financial adviser.

He said that if everyone would request certs it was his opinion that the short situation would be eliminated very quickly. He also said that if you absolutely knew that you were in this for the long haul that holding certs was best.
