OT some of my best friends are attys, but my favorite story is that I hired a caterer to put on a dinner, and one of the partners was an ex attorney. At some point in time she told me that I wouldnt be able to take the leftovers home because it was against the law. I told her she was nuts, she thought about it and then said she would allow it if I signed a release holding the catering firm and the partners and employees harmless from any liabilities arising from that. I said sure. a couple of days later she had drafted a 6 page release that was better written than most legal documents I looked at in 20 years of banking.
