I have a Walmart story that shows exactly what they are capable of. A friend of mine owns a batch of greenhouses in which he grows hanging pots in the early spring. One year Walmart approached him and offered to buy his entire crop for that year. He agreeded and because they are so large, he even out did himself with the amount he grew. When it came time to sell the stock, Walmart informed him they would only pay half the price he normally gets. And they explained he wouldn't be paid for quite some time after, not immediately. He told them to stick it. Ended up selling his stuff at local nurseries for a loss rather then sell to them. He won't have anything to do with them now and if that is how they treat small businesses, I am quite happy BNPD walked away while they could rather than getting sucked down that hole. I don't know why people would get upset about BNPD walking away from a losing proposition. Shows good sense IMO.
