I don't know I wouldn't consider losing the ability to drive a car a loss of freedom. Its really only a loss of freedom to me if I am told I am not allowed to breath. Other than that its all just rules society sets down to keep us functioning. Not everyone is like you and me. Some of those crazies out there think nutty things like restricting what you can do to your stuff or body is a loss of freedom.
