I was referring to second phase of Chairman concept..that is what we are doing right now with us 2 discussing. Piecing it together.

This is what I plan to do....

Clearly, I find out very fast where the trouble threads are. This is obvious. The moment a problem starts on a thread, is when we will start monitoring the Chairman and every post he delets AND POSTS...as well as the Direcotr.

You simply can't manage a site (reference: RB, SI, Yahoo) by watching every post and poster. But my view is, if I have a trouble thread, I monitor the Chairman, his posts, and the posts he deletes. From there, I can come up with a solution.

Thus, I will NOT delete any posts on any boards except for the Chairmans/Directors. It will be the Chair/Dir responsibilty to monitor THEIR thread AND delete the THREAD's posts...that means, I have to monitor just the Chairman...and thus, I can keep it fair both ways....

What do you think?

I think I have come to the conclusion that the Chairman have TOO much power.

Or maybe not. I can't understan why people have to act like such kids. Why can't people act like professionals? This SEVU ordeal has totally blown my mind.

You have a 40 year old man vs a 40 year old man...One is from one end of the investment world. The other is from the other extreme...

Where's the middle ground...LOL

Should the deletions of spam, personal attacks, and other useless posts be auto-removed via a vote? Should it be just a totally open system based just on an IP address (I'm very against this)? Should we charge people to post? ...

I still haven't seen your suggestions yet..Post them publicly, so anybody else passing by can comment. I am in total aggreeance that we can't launch with the way it is now...Thoughts?
