I will say this one last time. The patent does not cover the DIRECT method. I will say it again,the patent does not cover the DIRECT method.

The direct method is the method currently being used by over 99.9% of the barcodes in the real world today.

Look at Japan, the leader in the barcode world. where there are barcodes all over the street, they are all using the Direct Method.

Does Neomedia get any revenue from the usage in Japan, the first successful market? No. Because they don't have any patnets which cover this.
