silent chuckle here Thank You for your response but I have tried emailing JD with questions before and he treated me very rude so unless he plans to appologize I will not ask him directly his choice. Yes that is how it works if you are a big company I agree but a small company has to find the retail outlets and hook them up to the distributor. so yes they should have this information already and even if they do not have this info for some strange reason they should still know A. how many contracts they have with distributors. B. The term of the contracts. C. the amount of product guaranteed in the contracts. as for the dollar amounts leave that info out.
This info they have and should be reviewing it weekly if JD is working that hard
Your posts about distributors are so true. This is why I like the fact they are going down this road as opposed to chasing individual retailers. If you get 1 distributor in a city, they will chase the retailers in that area (if they do not already service them) for you. You deal with a single company they do the leg work of getting retailers. Look at this about the new NC distributor (this one is the best so far I am convinced) http://www.manta.com/coms2/dnbcompany_95z8m2
Lou the pres. has already found a way to ship to our people overseas for the same price as here. To boot, I ordered a case of each product on a Friday, the next Monday I called Lou and had a case of each sent to a serviceman dear to all our hearts in Afghanistan. He got his before I got mine and for what I paid for mine. I attribute it to the fact there was a holiday and they don't rest. Can't beat that with a stick. IMO. Lou is motivated, connected and willing to go the extra mile IMO. A few more like him and we are all set. JD didn't lift a finger for this. He can concentrate on signing the next one while Lou's capable hands get this and other things done. That is why distributors are the way to go.
